Cell Design

Process re-design (based on the principles of Just-In-Time) is having a dramatic impact on manufacturing effectiveness. Originating at Toyota Motor Company, JIT aims to develop cellular manufacturing systems flexible enough to accommodate fluctuations in customer demand. This workshop demonstrates the fundamental principles with step-by-step lectures, and practical exercises and case studies.
